CALIFORNIA PRUNE CAKE 
1 c. cooked prunes, chopped
1 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 eggs, unbeaten
1/2 c. prune juice

Mix drained prunes and walnuts. Sift flour with dry ingredients and spices. Beat butter with sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Mix in dry ingredients with milk and prune juice; beat until smooth. Stir in prunes and nuts. Bake in greased floured tube pan 1 hour at 350 degrees. Ice with cream cheese icing.
