PARTY PINK APPLESAUCE 
3 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 c. white sugar
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. red hot candies

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer until apples are barely tender. Stir gently a few times while cooking. Good with baked ham or fried chicken. Serve with whipped cream for a dessert.
