MERRY CHRISTMAS CHEESE CAKES | |
1 c. flour 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. firm pack brown sugar 1/2 c. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In 3 quart bowl combine flour, butter, brown sugar. Blend with mixer. Stir in nuts. Reserve 1 cup of mixture for topping. Pat remaining in ungreased 8 inch square pan. Bake near center of oven 8-10 minutes. FILLING: 8 oz. soft cream cheese 1/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 tsp. vanilla 2 tbsp. milk 2 tbsp. lemon juice Prepare filling. Spread over partially baked crust. Sprinkle reserve crumb mixture on top. Return to oven 23-30 minutes. Cool, cut and store in refrigerator. |
