MERRY CHRISTMAS CHEESECAKE BARS 
CRUST:

1/3 c. cold sweet butter
1/3 c. firm packed brown sugar
1 c. flour

FILLING:

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. each red and green glazed cherries, chopped

350 degree oven. Yield: 36 bars.

Cut butter into chunks; add brown sugar and flour. Beat at medium speed 1 minute. Reserve 1/2 cup of crumbs for topping; press remaining crumbs into 8 inch square pan. Bake in center of oven 10-12 minutes.

Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg and lemon juice until fluffy. Stir in the cherries. Pour filling over baked crust and sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Bake for 18-20 minutes until filling is set and top is lightly browned.
