PEACH COBBLER 
FRUIT:

1 lg. can sliced peaches, undrained
1/3 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice

TOPPING:

1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 egg
1/3 c. milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare fruit mixture in saucepan. Cook, stirring over low heat until mixture boils. Keep hot.

In medium bowl combine fruit mix and sugar. In small bowl combine oil, egg and milk. Make a center in biscuit mixture. Add milk mixture. Stir only until dampened. Pour hot fruit into 2 quart dish. Drop topping in 6 portions onto hot fruit. Bake 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with ice cream. Serves 6.
