COCA COLA CAKE
2 c. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. Coke (The Real Thing) 8 oz.
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows

Combine flour and sugar in bowl, set aside. Over medium heat melt butter, add cocoa and cola and heat to boiling point. Cool slightly and pour over flour and sugar mixture and stir until well blended. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well.

Stir in marshmallows. Pour in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. This will be a thin batter and the marshmallows will come to the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until done. Remove cake and frost in pan while hot.

FROSTING:

Combine 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons cocoa and 6 to 8 tablespoons Coke in saucepan. Heat until boiling. Pour over 2 cups of sifted powdered sugar and mix well. (This is hard work, but worth it.) Add about 1 cup chopped pecans and spread over hot cake.
