STIR - FRY BEEF AND VEGETABLES 
1 1/2 lb. lean beef (top round or round steak)
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
1 lg. carrot
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 to 3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 to 2 tbsp. sesame oil
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 med. celery stalks
2 green peppers (or 1 green and 1 red)

Slice beef into 1/8 inch slices. Toss with soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, cornstarch, and hot sauce. Set beef aside. Cut celery, carrot, and peppers into thin slices or strips and cook until tender crisp, then set aside. Cook beef until it loses pinkness. Add vegetables to beef and toss. Serve over rice or cooked pasta.

Note: Sesame oil is a must in this recipe.

Serves 6. 230 calories.
