BUTTERSCOTCH CRUNCH COOKIES 
Cream:

1 c. golden Crisco
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar

Add to above and mix:

2 eggs

Combine:

1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. hot water

Sift together:

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt

1 can shredded coconut (sm. can)
1 sm. pkg. butterscotch chips
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine with shortening, sugar and eggs. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
