CINNAMON SNAILS | |
4 slices soft whole wheat bread 1/4 c. soft cream cheese 3 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 3 tbsp. melted butter Trim crusts from bread. Spread 1 tablespoon cream cheese on each bread slice. Roll up slices with cream cheese on inside. Cut each roll into thirds. Mix cinnamon and sugar in bowl. Dip each roll into melted butter, then cinnamon mix. Do not dip ends of rolls. Place rolls seam side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until light brown and crisp. Serve warm. Makes 12. (Have crispy cinnamon shell on outside. Inside is creamy.) |
