CARNATION FIVE - MINUTE FUDGE | |
2/3 c. (sm. can) undiluted carnation evaporated milk 1 2/3 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. (about 16 med.) diced marshmallows 1 1/2 c. (1 1/2, 6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1 tsp. vanilla Combine milk, sugar and salt in saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil and cook 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly. (Start timing when mixture starts to "bubble" around edges of pan.) Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute (or until marshmallows are melted and blended). Pour into 8 inch square buttered pan. Garnish with nuts if desired. Cool. Cut in squares. Makes about 2 pounds. |
