RICH WHITE BREAD 
4 1/2 - 5 c. flour
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. yeast
3/4 c. warm milk
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs

Dissolve yeast for 5 minutes. Combine warm milk, sugar, and salt in large bowl. Stir. Beat in shortening, eggs, yeast and flour until smooth. Add rest of flour, mix well. Turn out onto floured board. Knead 5-10 minutes. Put in greased bowl and grease top, cover. Let rise. Divide and put into 9x5x3 pans. Bake at 300 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
