SCOTCH SHORTBREAD | |
2 sticks butter 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg yolk 2 1/4 c. flour (You can get by with 1 butter & 1 butter) Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg yolk and flour. Mix well. Batter will be stiff. Pat into ungreased pan (10 x 7 inch is the size I use). Prick thoroughly with a fork. (I make rows.) Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cut while hot. |
