QUICK CHERRY DESSERT | |
2 cans Comstock cherry pie filling 1 pkg. yellow cake mix 1 cube butter, melted 1 c. chopped nuts Spread cherries in ungreased Pyrex cake pan (9x13 inches). Sprinkle 3/4 of dry cake mix evenly over cherries. Mix remaining 1/4 mix with nuts and sprinkle over top. Melt butter and spoon evenly over top. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. It will be quite brown--undercooking makes it soggy. Spoon into dessert dishes and top with Cool Whip (if desired). |
