STUFFED PEPPERS 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
2 c. rice
8 bell peppers
2 tsp. sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
2 tsp. parsley
Pinch of thyme (optional)
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 sm. onion, chopped
3 pieces celery
3 cans tomato sauce

Clean and wash the 8 bell peppers and set aside. Place hamburger, seasonings, onion, and celery in skillet and brown. When brown add rice and 2 cans tomato sauce and 1 cup water; let simmer until rice is done. Add more water if needed. When this is done, add to cleaned peppers and bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Just before you take the peppers out, spoon sauce over tops of peppers.

SAUCE:

1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. chili powder

Add seasonings to tomato sauce and heat.
