AU GRATIN POTATOES | |
1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash browns 1/2 c. melted butter 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 pt. sour cream 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese Mix above ingredients. Top with buttered bread crumbs. Store in refrigerator overnight. Let stand at room temperature for about 1 hour before baking. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes one 13 x 10 inch casserole. Melt about 1/2 stick butter, then toss bread crumbs into it for the buttered bread crumbs. |
