BEEF AND MACARONI CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 pkg. (7 oz.) macaroni
1 can (28 oz.) tomatoes (3 1/2 c.)

Cook macaroni by the directions on the package; drain. Brown the ground beef and chopped onion in a frying pan, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper. Combine meat, macaroni and tomatoes. Pour into a casserole dish. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
