PEPPERMINT BROWNIES 
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Beat eggs until frothy. Beat in sugar; add chocolate mix and extract. Add flour and nuts; mix well. Pour into 10" greased pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool well.

FROSTING:

2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. milk
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract

Combine and frost cooled brownies. Refrigerate.

GLAZE:

1 tbsp. butter
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate

Mix over hot water; pour over frosted brownies, roll and tilt to cover. Refrigerate. Serve cool.
