2 lb. sirloin, cut into 1/2 inch chunks 18 mushroom caps 1/2 c. soy sauce 1 tsp. powdered ginger 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. brown sugar 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tsp. white sugar 2 tsp. lemon juice 1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks Dissolve both sugars in soy sauce and water. Add garlic, lemon juice, and ginger. Mix well. Place meat and mushrooms in shallow pan and cover with the soy sauce mixture. Cover and keep in refrigerator overnight, turning occasionally. Just before serving drain pineapple and arrange on sticks with the rest of the ingredients. Broil 4 minutes, or until desired doneness. |
