CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 c. shortening (butter)
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (Duncan Hines butter recipe)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Mix first 3 ingredients with half of cake mix. Stir in remaining ingredients with other half of cake mix. Bake on greased baking sheet at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. (Will be soft in center and look as if not quite done, when they are done.) Cool.
