4 egg whites 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. powdered type artificial sweetener 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk powder 1 tsp. almond extract Cinnamon or dry red sugar-free flavored gelatin Have egg whites at room temperature. With electric beater, beat whites until very stiff. Add powdered milk and mix on low speed. Add almond extract, vanilla and sweetener. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes until dry and lightly browned. Remove from oven and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon or gelatin. Makes 48 cookies. |
