1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, cut up
1 tsp. garlic
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. sweet basil
1/3 c. sugar
1 can creamed corn
2 c. macaroni
Salt & pepper to taste
4 strips of bacon

Cook macaroni until done, set aside. Brown hamburger, onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir together tomato paste, water, sweet basil and sugar. Mix well with hamburger and macaroni. Place into casserole dish. Top with creamed corn and place bacon strips on top. Cook 30 minutes, covered, then uncover and cook for 10 additional minutes at 350 degrees.
