GOB CAKE 
1 box dark chocolate cake mix
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
2 egg yolks, save whites
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix as on package. Add chocolate pudding, yolks, and oil; beat 5 minutes. Line 2 (9 x 13 inch) cake pans with wax paper. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Place 1 layer on cookie sheet.

FILLING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 can evaporated milk
3 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. Crisco

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar and hot evaporated milk; beat until sugar dissolves. Add butter. Beat 10 to 15 minutes. Add Crisco and vanilla. Beat until smooth and creamy. Top 1st layer with icing, then add second layer. Can add rest of icing or sprinkle with powdered sugar.
