APPLE POUND CAKE 
3 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. corn oil
3 eggs
2 c. finely chopped apples
1/2 c. raisins

Combine flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl. With electric mixer at medium speed beat together the oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Gradually beat in the flour mixture until smooth. Fold in the apples, pecans and raisins.

Turn into a greased and floured 10" tube or bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Store in air tight container.
