APPLE POUND CAKE | |
3 c. unsifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 1/2 c. corn oil 2 c. sugar 3 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. apples, chopped & peeled 1 c. pecans, chopped 1/2 c. raisins Combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside. Beat at medium speed oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mix until smooth. Fold in apples, pecans and raisins. Turn into greased, floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees one hour and fifteen minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool ten minutes. Remove. |
