TUTTI FRUTTI PRESERVES 
3 c. chopped pears
1 lg. orange, seeded and chopped
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
3/4 c. drained crushed pineapple
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut
5 c. sugar
1 pkg. powdered pectin

Mix pears, orange, cherries, pineapple, lemon juice, nuts, coconut. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly, until the fruit mixture comes to a full boil. Add the sugar, stirring constantly and boil hard for 1 minute. Remove from heat and add the pectin. Skim and stir for 5 minutes. Pour into hot containers and seal at once. 9 (6 oz.) glasses.
