BUZZ'S BUTTERMILK AND BRAN
CORNBREAD
 
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
3 c. bran
2 c. buttermilk
6 eggs
8 tbsp. butter, or bacon drippings

Sift together dry ingredients. In separate bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs and melted butter. Add to dry ingredients, mix well and pour into greased muffin tins. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 18 muffins. Can freeze and use as needed.
