OVEN BAKED BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stew beef
1 c. canned tomatoes
3 med. carrots, cut up
1 med. onion, diced
3 med. potatoes, cubed
1 slice bread, broken up
1/2 c. celery, diced
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. tapioca
1 c. water or juice from tomatoes

Combine all ingredients and place in casserole dish. Cover and bake for 3 hours at 325 degrees.
