CARAMEL DUMPLINGS 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. butter (heaping)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. hot water

Mix above ingredients and boil 5 minutes. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Then mix the following: 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Drop this batter into the syrup by spoonfuls. Bake in 375 degree oven for 20 minutes. Serve warm plain or with whipped cream.
