AMERICAN CHOP SUEY | |
1 lb. elbow macaroni 1 lb. hamburg 1 sm. onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 2 c. tomato soup 1 egg 1 tbsp. oil Bring water to boil. Place macaroni into boiling water. Add 1 tablespoon oil to prevent macaroni from sticking. Cook macaroni until soft. Put hamburg into bowl and add egg, diced onion, water and seasonings. Then fry hamburg mixture in oiled skillet until cooked thoroughly. About 6-7 minutes. Next drain cooked macaroni through colander, rinse with cold water. Put elbow macaroni into large bowl. Add tomato sauce and cook hamburg mixture. Put in oven at 350 degrees in a casserole dish for about 20 minutes. |
