4 c. chopped apples
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. nuts

Mix apples and sugar. Let stand while you beat eggs and oil. Sift dry ingredients and add eggs and apples. Bake in tube pan (greased and floured) for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Leave in pan until cool.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. canned milk

Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over cake.
