APPLE NUT CAKE 
1 c. nuts chopped
3 c. apples, chopped
2 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. oil
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour (sifted)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. vanilla

Mix all dry ingredients. Beat in eggs and oil. Add apples and nuts and beat again. Bake in cold oven 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Bake in bundt pan.

ICING:

1/2 stick butter
1 c. light brown sugar
1/4 c. canned milk

Bring ingredients to boil. Remove from heat and pour over hot cake.
