MARIE CALLENDER'S POTATO CHEESE
SOUP
 
8 c. peeled & cubed potatoes
2 c. peeled & chopped onions
4 c. chopped celery
4 c. water
2 tsp. salt
4 c. half and half
6 tbsp. butter
1 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
4 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley (opt.)

Place potatoes, onions and salt in water to cover in large pot. Simmer until tender, about 15 minutes. Put in blender and puree chunky style. Return soup to pot, add half and half, butter and cheese. Simmer until piping hot. (DO NOT BOIL.)
