NANCY'S STEW 
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 c. steamed carrots (sliced)
4 or 5 diced cooked potatoes
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano

Brown hamburger; add onions and celery. Continue cooking until onions are soft. Add spices. Stir in carrots and potatoes and immediately add tomatoes (crushed or whole). Simmer for about 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Salt to your preference.
