ANGEL FOOD FROSTING 
1 pt. whipping cream
1 tbsp. Knox gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/4 c. hot water
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 lb. marshmallows
6 macaroons, grated
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Candied cherries (optional)
Nuts (optional)

Soften the gelatin in cold water. Add the 1/4 cup sugar dissolved in the 1/4 cup hot water. Add the marshmallows, quartered, and the grated macaroons. Then the vanilla and almond flavorings. Fold into the whipped cream and set in refrigerator until cool and ready to frost.
