1/2 lb. butter
1 c. creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. 10x sugar (confectioners' sugar)

Melt together butter, peanut butter and vanilla. Then add confectioners' sugar. Mix together with hands and press into 9 inch square pan. Chill and cut into 1 inch squares. Store covered.

(Note: For chocolate peanut butter fudge - add 2 tablespoons cocoa with confectioners' sugar.)
