1 1/4 c. applesauce
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. cooking oil
2 eggs
3 tbsp. milk

In mixing bowl, thoroughly combine above ingredients.

2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Sift all dry ingredients together. Stir into applesauce mixture; beat well. Fold in pecans, turn into well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan.

1/4 c. pecans, chopped
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
