EASY CHOCOLATE DROPS 
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. cream

Stir the above ingredients together and cook until soft ball, stirring only until it starts to boil. Then cool until lukewarm without stirring. When cooled, add choice of flavoring - maple flavoring with chopped walnuts; coconut flavoring with shredded coconut; or peppermint or mint flavoring or almond flavoring for cherry chocolates.

With drained maraschino cherries ready, stir mixture until able to roll into balls. When balls have cooled dip into milk chocolate to which some paraffin and Crisco has been added and has been melted in double boiler on hot, not boiling, water. For cherry chocolate when mixture is ready to form into balls take one drained cherry at a tine and with a little mixture roll into a ball.
