STUFFED PEPPERS 
3 green peppers
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp. ketchup
1 c. hamburger meat, cooked (cold)
1 small can whole corn
3 tbsp. breadcrumbs
1 c. beef stock

Wash peppers. Remove stalk ends and seeds. Parboil gently in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Drain. Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and mix well; cook 1 minute. Add milk and stir until boiling. Combine this sauce with salt, pepper, ketchup, meat and well drained corn. Fill the peppers and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Place into a greased ovenproof dish with stock or water.

Bake in moderate oven until tender.
