LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
1 qt. canned tomatoes
1 c. water
3 tsp. salt
2 med. cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp. oregano
1 lb. cottage cheese
3/4 c. onion
2 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. pepper
12 lasagne noodles
1 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese

Brown beef and onions; drain off fat. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, water, parsley and salt. Sugar, garlic pepper and oregano. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions. In baking pan 13 x 9 x 2 spread a layer of sauce to cover bottom of pan. Cover this with 3 lasagne noodles. Add another layer of sauce. Over this dab teaspoonfuls of cottage cheese and cover with a layer of mozzarella. Repeat 3 more times. Bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, until brown. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.
