1 c. sugar
3 c. water
1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. cider vinegar
1 recipe of favorite biscuit or pastry dough

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In baking pan, mix sugar and flour, stir in water and vinegar; add butter. Heat in 350 degree oven until sugar melts. Cover mixture with strips of thinly rolled biscuit or pastry dough. Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees until crust is brown.
