PEPPERED HOMINY WITH CHEESE 
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. Wesson oil
1 (13 oz.) can hominy, drained
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. grated cheese (sharp)
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies or 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
Salt & pepper
1/4 tsp. cumin or a little chili powder

Saute onion in the Wesson oil. Mix together with remaining ingredients. Put in Pyrex dish. Heat well. Serve hot.
