BERK'S COUNTY POTATO DUMPLINGS 
1 1/2 slice bread (torn)
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. onion
3 med. raw potatoes, grated
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Mix as written down, with rounded tablespoon of dough into balls; roll generously in flour. Drop into broth and boil 15 minutes. Maybe served also with sauerkraut.
