4 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. can evaporated milk

Put in heavy pan and bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn off.

18 oz. Nestles semi-sweet chocolate bits
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. vanilla

Pour in buttered pan. Makes 5 pounds.
