BANANA PUDDING DESSERT 
Vanilla wafers
Bananas
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour, heaping
4 eggs, separated
2 c. whole milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. sugar

Line bottom of square Pyrex pan with vanilla wafers. Slice medium ripe bananas and cover wafers. Continue to make layers of wafers and bananas until pan is full.

Mix sugar and flour in saucepan. Add egg yolks and 2 cups milk. Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Add vanilla. To egg whites add 1 drop of water. Gradually add 1 tablespoon sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.

Pour pudding mixture over the wafer and banana layers. Spread egg whites on top. Put under broiler until brown. Watch closely. Cool in refrigerator before serving.
