SHREDDED WHEAT BREAD | |
4 c. boiling water 4 Shredded Wheat biscuits 2/3 c. white sugar 3 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening 2/3 c. molasses 2 pkg. dry yeast 10 to 12 c. white flour Mix first 6 ingredients together and let cool. Prepare yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add to mixture. Gradually work in flour. Let rise once until double in size. Shape in 3 or 4 loaves. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes and then at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. |
