MEXICALI ROSE 
1 lb. deerburger
2 (4 oz.) cans whole green chilies
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese

In a skillet, brown the deerburger, pour off any grease. In the bottom of a casserole dish, place a layer of chilies, then layer of deerburger, then layer of cheese. Now another layer of chilies, deerburger and cheese on top.

In a bowl blend eggs, flour, salt and milk. Pour this mixture on top of layers in dish. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until custard-like topping forms. Mildly hot dish. Serves 4.
