BLUEBERRY BRUNCH CAKE | |
1/2 c. shortening 3/4 c. sugar 1 egg 2 c. flour 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 2 c. blueberries Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and beat until light and fluffy. Mix flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternating with milk. Add blueberries. Spread in greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. CRUMBS: 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. flour 1/4 c. butter 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly and sprinkle on top. Cranberries can be substituted. |
