BASIC WHITE BREAD 
6 to 7 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. salt or less
2 pkgs. red or quick acting dry yeast
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. shortening
2 1/4 c. warm water

Spray a large mixing bowl with Pam and mix 3 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt, shortening and yeast in the bowl. Add warm water. Beat on low speed, scraping bowl frequently.

Mix in the rest of the ingredients and knead by hand. Cover and let rise to double the size (about 1 hour).

Punch down dough, divide dough in half. Flatten by hand and shape into loaves. Cook at 425 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. This dough may be used for pizza, pepperoni bread, etc.
