2 sticks butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. plus 2 tsp. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped pecans

Drop by spoon. Make small thumb print in middle. Bake at 325 degrees. Cool.

FILLING:

2 tsp. hot milk
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all together until smooth. Color with food coloring. Place small amount in center of cookies after they have cooled.
