CHERRY COCONUT SALAD 
12 oz. large curd cottage cheese, drained
7 1/2 oz. can pineapple tidbits
No. 2 can tart red cherries, drained
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. coconut
1/2 c. pecans
1/2 c. sour cream
2 tbsp. orange peel
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Combine cottage cheese, pineapple tidbits, and cherries. Lightly fold in marshmallows, coconut and pecans. In small bowl, mix together the sour cream, orange peel and brown sugar. Pour over salad and toss lightly. Chill. Serve on lettuce; garnish with maraschino cherries, if desired.
